The group has put together a fun and thought-provoking calendar of films that will be screened in the beautifully renovated Deniliquin Town Hall.
It starts with The Princess Bride tonight - a funny and heart-warming family favourite. Doors open at 6.30pm.
Some highlights for the society will be the screening of The Home Song Stories in June with attendance by the film’s producer, former Deniliquin local Michael McMahon.
Also to be shown will be the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Adam Eliot’s Oscar nominated Memoir of a Snail.
You can attend by becoming a member of the Deniliquin Film Society, either for 12, six or three months, and then admission is free for the months your membership is current.
There is a discounted youth membership and children under-13 years can attend with an adult member.
The Deniliquin Film Society was established more than 30 years ago, and is able to present films at the Deniliquin Town Hall in 2025 with the support of Edward River Council and South West Arts.
