Organisers of the Finley Amateur Dramatic and Musical Society (FADAMS) meeting held last Wednesday evening were delighted to see so many new faces showing an interest in this year’s production.
Seven new members, both young and mature, are eagerly waiting to take on the challenge.
Tracy Anderson and Lawrence Walsh gave an insight on what is involved when becoming part of the group and stressed that previous experience is not necessary, just commitment to attend weekly rehearsals.
They also explained that the only financial obligation is $15 membership fees to cover personal insurance.
There are various roles to be played by members including both onstage and offstage.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at the Finley School of Arts Hall, commencing at 7pm, when script reading will commence.
It is still not too late for anyone interested to take part and new members are most welcome.
Further information can be obtained by contacting Ross Whittaker on 0419 649 508 or Tracy Anderson on 0427 639 284.
FADAMS productions have been entertaining members of the community for more than 70 years, and it is anticipated it will continue to do so for many more years.

Sharen advised she has been overwhelmed with the congratulations and best wishes she has received since making the decision to retire.
