First started in 2013, the Ritchies IGA Family Fun Day was conceived as a way for the company to give back to the community.
The fun day will be held between 9:30am and 1pm and activities will include jumping castles, a petting zoo, face painting and temporary tattoos.
Characters, including Olaf from Frozen, will be on hand to give hugs and high fives to children as well as free show bags.
Performers from Cobram Secondary College will also entertain the crowd, while the CFA and SES will hold a barbecue.
Cobram Secondary College will be selling fairy floss and popcorn and Cobram Primary School will sell cold drinks.
Attendees can also take part in the monster raffle with tickets beginning at $2 each or three for $5.
Prizes on offer include eskies, wine and skin care hampers, all provided by the store’s suppliers.
The monster raffle will be drawn at 12.30pm.
All money raised through the raffle will be donated to the Cobram SES and CFA.
Ritchies IGA store manager Mandy Hawke said the two organisations were chosen as they played a crucial role in the Cobram community.
“Ever since we started in 2013 we stuck to donating to the SES and CFA as they are a local community organisation which plays a prominent role in protecting Cobram year-round,” Ms Hawke said.
Since the first fun day in 2013, the store has raised $46,000 for the two volunteer services.
Ms Hawke hopes the upcoming event will bring joy and relaxation for the Cobram community.
“Everyone has had a very difficult last two years and the family fun day is a chance to relax, bond as a community and bring a smile to kids’ faces,” she said.
