The Echuca Jobs Expo aims to connect local jobseekers, backpackers, students, and recent school-leavers with employers, training providers, and Apprenticeship Connect providers.
More than 100 job vacancies are on offer across various industries, with roles available in health, aged care, construction, tourism, agriculture, legal, and defence, among other areas.
Employers include Campaspe Shire Council, Echuca Regional Health, Workpac, Bupa, McDonald’s, Coolabah Turf, and the ADF.
Bendigo TAFE Skills and Job Centre will also be available to provide resume building, interview technique, and career development support.
Employment Facilitator for Goulburn Murray, Faye D’Helin said the event was a great opportunity for locals to connect with nearby employers and training providers.
“We encourage everyone looking for their first job, returning to the workforce or considering a career change to join us and explore the vast opportunities available close to home,” Ms D’Helin said.
Jobseekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of updated resumes to Echuca Stadium on Wednesday, November 20.
Pre-registration is available at Eventrbite, but is not necessary to attend on the day.
