The graduates are now registered nurses or registered nurse and midwives, with many transitioning from other roles at the hospital.
An ERH spokesperson said it was an exciting milestone for the graduates, which culminated from their dedication to study and work over many years.
“While the transition from student to nurse comes with its challenges, it is also a time of growth, opportunity and new responsibilities,” the spokesperson said.
“As ERH welcome these people, we congratulate the 2024 graduates who have completed their 52-week program, many of whom are continuing with employment at ERH.
“These programs and the opportunities they offer are a vital part of ERH’s workforce development.”
The hospital will also have an enrolled nurse begin later in January as part of the program.
This year’s graduate registered nurses are: Briodie Robinson, Denita Reid, Emma Wilkinson, Erin McCann, Georgia Allitt, Georgia Maiden, Karen Gadsden, Kate Grey, Madison Bryant, Rebecca Tobin, Samara Opie, Sarah Gillie and Tazarni Clarke.
Millie Reed is a graduate registered nurse and midwife, and Courtney Monaco will be an enrolled nurse.
