Now in its second instalment, a special event is landing in Barooga next month.
Following its stellar inaugural event last November, the Barooga Community Fair will return.
As then, the goal of the fair was to provide a space for local artists to showcase their local products, Community River Arts president Sandi Hamilton said.
Mrs Hamilton said there would be close to 30 stallholders at next month’s event. Cakes, barbecue and soft-serve ice-cream will be just a few of the food options available.
The inaugural fair received enormous support from local parents and the Barooga Public School, Mrs Hamilton said.
“It was great a success working with them,” she said.
Funds raised will be spent on projects at Barooga Primary School.
The free event will be held at the Barooga Community Hall on Banker St on Sunday, March 9, from 9am to 1pm.
