The Bloods continued to build a premiership resume on the netball courts when Heathcote and District Football Netball League played resumed on Saturday.
Keeping their undefeated record in tact with a dominant a 27-goal win over fifth-placed North Bendigo, Elmore sits two wins clear at the top of the table, though its next competitor Colbinabbin has played one less game.
The Bloods return home to face Heathcote (2-5) this Saturday.
â—� ELMORE'S football side had a tougher re-introduction to the Heathcote and District Football League, suffering a tough 46-point loss to the North Bendigo.
North Bendigo got off to a searing start on their home turf at Hibo Hotel Oval, though Elmore would have been happy the damage wasn't a lot worse, the Bulldogs wayward with 6.7.
With the home side leading by 27 points at half-time, they soon put the foot on the gas in the third, kicking seven goals to Elmore's three.
The Bloods then pegged back a goal on their rivals in the fourth to keep the margin under 50.
North Bendigo's Dylan Klemm and Shane Harris were lethal up forward, combining for 12 goals, while James Harney was Elmore's best with four (Harney ranks equal-third in league goal kicking with 22).
He was joined by Zack Holmberg in the best.
The Bloods remain outside the top four with a 2-5-1 record though host the lower ranked Heathcote next.
