This year's jamboree was hosted by Scouts Queensland and held at the Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park from Monday, January 6.
Over 10,000 Scouts and volunteers are attending this year's event including representatives from the 1st Echuca Scout Club.
The club has eight Scouts between the ages of 11 and 14 participating, two Venturers attending as youth leaders and one adult leader supporting them.
A representative from the club said the group are enjoying their time at the jamboree.
“[The] Scouts are having a wonderful time. Maryborough is experiencing heavy rain on and off, with all our scouts making the most of it in the mud and sunshine when it’s out,” they said.
“They are making friends from around Australia. For several nights they have been up the front of every concert, and are joining in the adventure wholeheartedly.
“We, their leaders, are super proud of them for taking on such a big and exciting adventure, and we can’t wait to hear all about it when they get back.”
This year’s Jamboree has over 200 different campsites made up of 36 scouts and 4 leaders each.
Scout contingents have come from as far as Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Romania, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Timor Leste, Austria, Canada, Fiji, and the UK.
Around the region, scouts from the 1st Kyabram Scout Club and the 1st Kialla Scout Club are also at the Jamboree.
So far the Scouts have spent plenty of time getting hands-on by rock climbing, abseiling, paddleboarding, snorkelling and building rafts.
Outside their usual scouting activities, they have been able to enjoy a military tour, a train expo, a visit to Australia Zoo and experiencing local Maryborough art.
Scouts also had the chance to explore the world of electronics with sessions on robots, 3D printing, electronics soldering and much more.
The fun has continued into the night every evening, with talent shows, guest performances, raves, trivia and themed nights being hosted in the main and mini arenas.
The Jamboree is set to conclude on Wednesday, January 13.
