Edward River Council and the Deniliquin Business Chamber invited local tourism providers to the sit-down breakfast.
There they could hear industry updates and insights, and embrace valuable networking opportunities.
Also represented at the breakfast were service groups who play a hand in local events, and regional tourism organisation Destination Riverina Murray.

Look out for motorcycles
Did you know that, on average, 57 motorcyclists are killed and 1042 are seriously injured on NSW roads every year?
And did you know about 65 per cent of fatalities on NSW roads happen on country roads?
By the time Motorcycle Awareness Month began on October 1, 32 motorcyclists had already been lost on our roads.
That’s why Transport for NSW is determined to continue its work to ensure their safety, and the safety of all road users - not just in October, but all year round.
Supporting that cause are members of the Deniliquin Ulysses Motor Cycle Club and Deniliquin Antique Vehicle Club, who get out on their motorbikes as often as they can.
So how can you help make the roads safer for motorcyclist riders? Embrace the 2023 theme of ‘Look out for motorcyclists’.
For riders themselves, this year’s feature resource is the Motorcycle Clothing Assessment Program.
This is an independent, free resource supported by governments and private road safety organisations across Australia and New Zealand.
MotoCAP tests gear using rigorous, scientific methods to provide ratings for motorcyclists to choose the right gear with the best protection and breathability for their ride.
Member for Murray Helen Dalton is known for wearing pink a fair bit these days, adopting the colour as her trademark and for promotional material when she became an independent.
But she’s also decided to ‘pink up’ her office at NSW Parliament House to bring awareness to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A bright pink bra has been hanging from the door of her office.
“Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, with nine people losing their lives to the disease every day,” Helen said when revealing her display.
“The only way to stop deaths from breast cancer is by funding research to improve our understanding of how breast cancer originates, grows and spreads so that we can stop it in its tracks.”
