Having already donated her hair to be used in wigs for people living with cancer many years earlier, she decided to chop her locks off once again.
This time, however, she decided she wanted to shave her hair and ask for donations, all of which will go to Cancer Council Victoria.
She will shave her head at the Devenish Market on Sunday, November 3, and has already secured an extraordinary number of donations.
Her goal to raise $5000 was already ambitious. However, as of Thursday, October 24, she had already raised $12,000.
Lilly said she was excited to have her head shaved at the market, with the local community.
“I came up with this idea after Tiff was diagnosed with thyroid cancer,” Lilly said.
Lilly said she was really happy to have received so many donations, and her mum, Jenny Binion, said she was incredibly proud.
“She came to me at the start of August and said she wanted to shave her hair and raise money for cancer charities,” Jenny said.
“I wasn’t sure what to do. So I said ‘leave it with me’ and I made some calls.
“I spoke to Cancer Council (Victoria). They registered her, and we started doing sausage sizzles straight away.”

And Jenny said she hoped people would go to the Devenish Market on November 3 to support Lilly.
She said there would be lots going on at the market that day.
“There’s a blow-up animal race,” she said.
“We’ve got raffles, with some major prizes.
“And halfway through the fun, at about 12.30pm, Lilly will be shaving her head.”
