The eight-month-old Footloose heifer was bought by Brent and Kim Mitchell from Bamawm, and Marcus Young from Tasmania.
Avonlea Dropbox Footloose was sold by Avonlea Holsteins and went under the hammer of auctioneer Brian Leslie with Dairy Livestock Services staff.
Born in April last year, the heifer’s mother’s sister sold for $63,000 last year.
Another Holstein heifer, from the Connie line and owned by Cinnamin Partners, sold for $13,000.
Tom Lindquist sold a Holstein heifer, Scotts Creek Dropbox Heidi 81, for $12,500 to Nathan Shannon at Katunga.
The Create the Future ST Genetics sale achieved a 100 per cent clearance of 39 lots, with an average of $7471.
