A club spokesperson said after being closed for two years because of COVID-19, it had now reopened.
“The Da Vinci Social Club committee is delighted to reopen with a wide range of entertainment catering to everyone’s tastes,” the spokesperson said.
Upcoming events:
- Joe Avati show — April 2;
- A supper dance with the Hoffman Duo — May 14;
- More laughs with Lucky Starr and Rodney Vincent on — June 5; and
- A two-day rock and roll festival with Fender Benders and Honkytonk Rockers on July 22 and 23.
“Joe Avati is one of Australia’s top comedy exports. His unique comedy is performed in a mixture of English and Italian,” the spokesperson said.
“An Evening with Joe Avati will showcase the best of Joe’s new material that he has honed around the globe on his recent world tour.
“With a show that touches on universal themes such as generational differences, a love of food and the immigrant experience, Joe’s comedy can reach across languages, nationalities, and ethnicities for a genuine laugh — and the fact that he avoids profanities and offensive gags makes it comedy that is truly suitable for the entire family.
“Don’t miss one of the world’s best stand-up comedians delivering his side-splitting observations of what it’s like to grow up multicultural.”
His show is suitable for children 12 years and over.
The bar will be open throughout the performance. Remember to drink responsibly.
During intermission there will be a silent auction and some delicious Italian street food including arancini, crespelle, crostoli and cannoli just to name a few.
