There will once again be four divisions in weekend pennant with six teams filling out divisions one and two.
Division three will have seven teams while division four will have the most with eight.
Teams in division one will play each other three times through 15 rounds and a finals series.
Meanwhile in the lower two divisions, teams will face off against one another twice before a finals series.
A major shake-up has occurred for midweek pennant with all teams being merged into one division due to a lack of interest to separate the sides.
City of Echuca, Mathoura and Moama will all have two teams entered into the Friday competition.
Each team will play each other once.
CVBD chairman Barry Brown said he was looking forward to an exciting season.
“It’s nice to think we are going to get some competition away,” he said.
“We’ve lost a couple of teams in the lead-up to the season and we fully respect the decision they’ve made.
“We look forward to welcoming them back in future.”
CVBD has confirmed the same scoring system will be used as last season.
Play will get under way on Friday, October 30 (midweek) and Saturday, October 31 (weekend) with fixtures expected to be released in the coming days.
