Expressions of interest for both the Disability Advisory Committee and the Positive Ageing Advisory Committee are now open and will close on Friday, May 16.
Mayor Shane Sali said the committees played an important role in shaping the region’s future.
“These committees give the community a voice,” he said.
“They help us better understand the experiences of people living with a disability and our ageing population, so that we can make decisions that benefit everyone.
“Whether you are living with a disability, caring for someone, working in the sector or have a passion for positive ageing, this is your chance to contribute to real change in Greater Shepparton.”
Disability Advisory Committee: Council is seeking people with lived or professional experience in the disability space.
This may include people living with a disability, carers, service providers or advocates.
