The Coly B-grade side and their 9th GDCA premiership.
Coleambally’s B-grade cricketers reversed their result from last year to take home their first 40 over premiership since 2019 with a dominant 77 run win last Saturday in Griffith.

Coleambally won the toss and chose to bat on a flat deck and slow outfield, but in 40 plus degree heat.
This took its toll on the Exies Diggers as the opening partnership of Luke Roberts (26) and Henry Lacey (27) took the shine off the new ball for the middle order to kick on in hot conditions.
Captain Jake Breed (23), Shaun Iddles (21), Toby Saunders (15) and man of the match Cooper Smith (33 not out) pushed the score to 172 off their allotted 40 overs.
However, while Coly posted a large score, the wicket had played true all year and the job was only half done with a formidable Diggers line up facing them.
The turning points were the run-outs of Mark Favell and Kayden Dauth, both from Sunil Babu, signalling the intention of the Nomads to field hard and win at all costs.
With the ball, Mr Athletic Sam Strachan with his left arm googlies (2/33), speedster Breed (2/12) and Smith (3/9) rolled the defending premiers with 70 plus runs still required.
Plenty of jubilation from the entire team and the strong supporter base in hand when the final catch was taken.
The win capped off a convincing season for the B-grade Nomads, who also won the Graham McCann T/20 Cup in February and were crowned Griffith District Cricket Association minor premiers.
The club’s presentation evening will be held in the next few weeks with C, B-grade and club awards to be given.
