Moama Anglican Grammar School held its annual primary school Easter Bonnet Parade on Friday, April 4.

A raft of parents and carers gathered to cheer the students on as they showed off their colourful creations on the final day of Term 1.

Teacher and emcee Brett Harris said Easter was a wonderful time for everyone to come together.
“Not only to showcase our beautiful Easter bonnets ... but also to reflect on what we’re thankful for,” he said.

Year 6 students kicked off the event, parading their bonnets and receiving encouragement from students and parents.
In total, sixteen classes paraded their inventive headgear, with Easter-themed intermission performances by the junior singers choir and Year 1 students.
The junior singers choir performed an Easter-themed song, ‘Chocolate’.

Selected students were asked what the inspiration was behind their bonnets and what they were grateful for, with many choosing family.
