Coles tomato paste recalled after allergen goes undeclared

The allergen was not declared as an ingredient in the products and people with a soy allergy or intolerance are advised they may experience a reaction if consumed.

In a statement, a Coles Supermarket spokesperson said customers could return the product to their closest Coles store for a full refund.

If purchased online, customers should contact Coles Online Customer Care for a full refund or store credit on 1800 455 400.

“We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience,” the statement said.
