The six-hour event brought together some big names and contributed to local community groups via fundraising.
Cohuna Kangas Football Netball Club president Wade Mathers said community groups were the lifeblood of regional towns.
“Home Ground Sounds not only brought a wonderful day of entertainment to the area but provided many of the community groups an opportunity to raise funds that we simply have not had before,” he said.
“The event itself was hours of fantastic music and fun for all ages, but the impact the concert had will extend well beyond one day.”
