Chelsea began Karate in 2015 and will continue to go further in this discipline.
For those who may not be aware, karate classes are held in Finley at the All Stars Martial Arts Finley Dojo by Shihan Daniel Zrajko.
Gradings of the different karate belts are held in Finley at the end of term, but the black belt is graded at head office in East Bentleigh, Victoria.
Eighteen other children 12 years and under were graded for black belt in the disciplines of block, breakfalls, self-defence, one minute pad work, one minute touch contact sparring, one minute shadow sparring and Kata.
Classes are held at the Finley Community Gym and further information can be obtained by calling Daniel on 0499 991 155.

Jenny Tarrant would like to advise that the raffle she has been conducting to raise funds for MND (Motor Neurone Disease) proved very successful, thanks to the continuing support of the community.
