Moira Shire Council is calling for interested parties to submit an expression of interest in the leasing and operation of the Numurkah Caravan Park.
Council chief financial officer Matt Jarvis said the Numurkah Caravan Park was a well-presented park located on a picturesque bend of the Broken Creek.
“Within easy walking distance of the Numurkah central shopping centre, the site occupies an attractive parcel, holding an extensive frontage to the south bank of the creek and is considered to be generally well drained,” Mr Jarvis said.
“The powered sites are laid out around a circular internal bitumen sealed road, with the amenities block in the central island.
“The park has pleasant sweeping lawns, established shade trees, and some decorative garden beds and shrubs.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live and work in an idyllic setting with loyal return visitors.
“Why not come for a drive and see the serenity for yourself.”
The successful applicant will lease the caravan park from council for a maximum term of 21 years and will be responsible for the management, operation, maintenance and improvement works at the park.
Expressions of interest must meet the requirements detailed in the information pack on council’s website at moira.vic.gov.au and must be received by council by September 16.
