The reunion party gets underway from 11am tomorrow with a welcome and acknowledgement of country, with activities continuing until 2pm.
A history of Edward Public School will be presented by former teacher and P&C Life Member, Wayne Bradley.
This will be followed by the cutting of the anniversary cake, and then a free morning tea.
From 11.30am to 2pm guests will be able to access classrooms and Bradley Hall for a step back in time, and revisit what the history of the school means to them.
There will be photo slideshows, scrapbooks, a memorabilia display and time capsule memorabilia will be available to collect.
From 12.30pm to 1.30pm there will be a barbecue lunch and drinks available for purchase.
Guests will be entertained by musical performances and commemorative stubby holders, key rings and Deniliquin bricks will all be available to purchase.
The history of The Edward School buildings (built on the Lethbridge Park Plan) began in 1972 when they were occupied by the Principal and staff on Tuesday, February 8, 1972 and on the following day 186 children were enrolled.
The school has grown significantly to the present day and Mr Bradley has many wonderful facts and stories to share with guests on Saturday.
