Celebrate the women around you this International Women’s Day with a special event in March.
The CWA — Cobram Nocturnals Branch will host an afternoon tea function at the Cobram Community House to mark the occasion.
Branch Secretary Helen Christie said there would be plenty of friendship and fun to look forward to.
“We’d like as many to come along and have a good time,” she said.
Critical care registered nurse Angela Peris will be the guest speaker on the day.
“We want to recognise women, and we’ve got a very good guest speaker,” Ms Christie said.
Everything — from afternoon tea refreshments to a stake in the raffle — is included in the $10 per person entrance fee.
Bookings are required by Sunday, March 2.
The event will be held at the Cobram Community House on Punt Rd on Wednesday, March 12, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
