After falling to 5-46 against Mooroopna, Inver rose off the canvas thanks to Andrew O'Connor (39), Travis Murdoch (27 not out) and Bayden Moor (25) in the middle order to reach 6-136 from 20 overs.
The Cats managed 100 all-out in the chase as Murdoch (3-9) and Dean Mangles (2-11) impressed with the ball.
Michael Van Dorsser (20) top-scored for the Cats, while Reilly Young had earlier taken 3-24.
Dylan Baker hit 83 for Murchison in a dominant performance against Central Park-St Brendan's.
Baker's heroics helped the Grasshoppers reach 4-145 before restricting the Tigers to 9-67.
Tommy Tastuki (3-18) and Greg Fraser (2-0) did the damage with the ball for Murchison, while Alexander Schmedje took 3-33 for the Tigers.
Tatura defeated Undera by 10 runs thanks to Glenn Walker (60), James Collett (2-19) and Sean Martin (2-21), while Euroa won by 14 runs against Karramomus.
