The festival is scheduled for Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 24.
Organisers aim to empower businesses across Greater Shepparton with a number of workshops, networking opportunities and resources to inspire innovation and drive growth for local businesses.
With a focus on reconnecting businesses post-COVID-19 and equipping them with the tools for success in a rapidly evolving business landscape, this event promises to become a beacon of support for Greater Shepparton entrepreneurs.
More than 16 workshops will be held in 12 venues, catering to small businesses, established businesses, new businesses and sole traders.
The festival has been organised by Greater Shepparton City Council in partnership with the Greater Shepparton Business Network and council’s Resilience in Recovery program.
The Victorian and federal governments have provided funding for the event.
Council manager of economic development Anthony Nicolaci said he was excited at the prospect of the event supporting the local business community.
“We are thrilled to present the Business Big Ideas Festival, providing a dynamic platform for businesses to learn, connect and grow,” he said.
“This event underscores our commitment to fostering economic development and resilience within Greater Shepparton.”
