As many pubs and major brewers deal with the increased costs from the alcohol tax increase, one local brewery is seeing the changes as a positive.
Shepparton Brewery has announced that its locally brewed keg beers will remain unaffected by the changes, and will continue to offer a cost-effective alternative for pubs, clubs and consumers.
As an independent craft brewer, the brewery operates with a smaller production scale, so it is not subjected to the same level of impact from the increases, letting it maintain its current pricing.
Owner and manager Diana Winch said Shepparton Brewery believes in the power of choosing local.
“We understand that times are tough, and everyone is feeling the pinch,” she said.
“As a small, family-owned business, we’re committed to supporting our local community.
“By keeping our prices stable, we’re providing a genuine opportunity for pubs and clubs to serve a fantastic, locally crafted beer without passing on the increased costs to their customers.
“We encourage everyone to taste the difference and experience the quality of truly independent, locally brewed beer.”
