Rochester SES is encouraging community groups to register their emergency contribution abilities, including resources, infrastructure and services. A document is available to be completed by organisations available to help during disasters. They can be emailed on rochester@ses.vic.gov.au
In collaboration with North Central Catchment Management Authority, Rochy SES will be supplying magnets to each household with a specific ‘flood number’ using data from the 2011 floods. This will give information about minor, moderate and major flood risks at every property. A drop-in location and date in early November will be confirmed soon.
Mind Australia is continuing support services for residents over the age of 26 from its Echuca and Bendigo offices, as well as over the phone. Walk-ins are available at its Echuca office at 222 Ogilvie Ave, and Mind Australia Bendigo Loddon Campaspe can also be contacted on 5497 5600 or 5412 6600.

Rochester Business Network is hosting a Halloween late night shopping event. From 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, October 31, businesses are encouraged to stay open, decorate their windows and put treats out the front of their stores for trick-or-treaters.
