The Tatura Women’s Breakfast, presented by Tatura Community House and supported byGreater Shepparton City Council, will be held on Friday, March 7, at the Hill Top Golf and Country Club in Tatura to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Although titled a ‘women’s’ breakfast, the event is inclusive, and everyone is welcome to attend, according to Tatura Community House manager Nadine Pichler.
“Expect yummy food — a little breakfast spread, buffet-style — and a very interesting speaker,” she said.
Event organisers have announced that the guest speaker is none other than Ro Allen, the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner.
With over 25 years of experience in community service and social justice, they embody a profound commitment to promoting equality and advocating for the rights of all individuals.
Following the breakfast portion of the festivities, attendees will have the chance to network with about 100 expected guests.
Ms Pichler pointed out that employers, especially, should take advantage of this opportunity to support their staff in a refreshing manner.
“This event is a wonderful way for businesses and employers to show appreciation for their workers by shouting tickets and treating them to breakfast,” she said.
“It also encourages professional development — and a different way of doing that.”
