Book Week rippled through schools nationwide, but there was something special about the concluding celebration at Bourchier St Primary School in Shepparton.

Maybe it was the little faces unrecognisable under face paint and fluffy facial hair.
Or the colours that burst across the school assembly as excitement for the class parades came together.
Whatever you put it down to, the students brought their A+ game to the final day of Book Week on Friday, August 25, and News photographer Rechelle Zammit was there to capture the characters.
