Children across Cobram and Barooga celebrated Book Week from August 20 to 26 with costumes and special activities, all in celebration of books, Australian children’s authors and illustrators.

This year, kids celebrated the theme ‘Dreaming with Eyes Open’ throughout the week, which is a highlight for young readers across the country.
Since 1945, the Children’s Book Council of Australia has marked Book Week, bringing children and books together in recognition of the magic and learning they bring to schoolchildren.
