Around 100 motorcyclists will roll into Echuca to be blessed at Christ Church Anglican in March.
The annual Anointing of the Boneshakers event invites motorcycle, tricycle and Can-Am Spyder enthusiasts to remember their fallen and receive God’s blessing.
Now in its second year at Echuca, the event is billed as an opportunity for northern Victoria’s motorcycle community to come together, including those without a vehicle.
Reverend Phil Zamagias and a church clergy member will perform the blessings on Sunday, March 16.
From 10am, attendees can mingle, check out the vehicles, enjoy a morning tea courtesy of the Royal Hotel, and purchase drinks from a coffee van on site.
The ceremony will begin at 11.15am with a talk by Rev Zamagias, followed by a parade of bikers rolling through the church grounds to receive their blessing.
Attendees are also invited to a private function at the Royal Hotel after the event for a $15 lunch special.
The free event will be held at the church at 500 High St, Echuca.
