The Rochester Lions Club held a special evening to celebrate the remarkable 50-year service of Hedley Moon as a dedicated member of the organisation.

His long-standing commitment has left a lasting impact on the Rochester Lions, and the evening served as a heartfelt acknowledgement of his service.

In a moment of growth for the club, the evening also saw the induction of two new members, Julianne Hand and Giovanna Paternostio.
With the addition of these two passionate individuals, the Rochester Lions Club continues to expand its community-driven efforts.

The first vice district governor was present to officiate the proceedings, adding to the significance of the event.
Bob Knight was also recognised as a distinguished 35-year member of the Lions Club and honoured with the Chris August Award.
Bob’s deep connection with the late John Forbes played a pivotal role in the establishment of the John Forbes collection, a key feature of the Rochester Sports Museum.
