Benalla's Becky Webster was listed as Geelong's best in the loss to St Kilda on Friday night.
Webster racked up 24 possessions, including 16 kicks and eight handballs.
She also took eight marks and laid three tackles as the Cats went down by 29 points.
Geelong coach Paul Hood was all praise for Webster post-match.
“She worked tremendously,” Hood said.
“Becky is a real lion-hearted player that puts her body on the line for the team."
In the same game, Kyabram's Julia Crockett-Grills registered nine touches and four tackles, while Mooroopna's Millie Brown missed again with injury.
Carlton's Grace Egan was the second player from the region to be named in her team's best, as she recorded 21 disposals, 14 of which were handballs.
The Shepparton product, who backed up her performance against St Kilda, also registered three marks and three tackles in the five-point, come-from-behind win against Richmond.
Egan wasn't the only Shepparton product to be named in her team's best players, with Adelaide's Angela Foley also getting noticed.
Foley had nine kicks, a handball, four marks and a tackle in the Crows’ 6.9 (45) to 5.3 (33) win over Brisbane.
The region's other representative, Mansfield's Bonnie Toogood had a quiet day against Melbourne in the Western Bulldogs’ win.
Toogood had six possessions, two marks and seven tackles as the Dogs recorded a 6.1 (37) to 2.12 (24) victory.
This weekend, Geelong's trio will again play the opening game of the round, this time against Richmond, with both teams searching for their first win, Toogood is up against GWS, Egan will head to Launceston to take on North Melbourne and Foley's Crows host the Saints.
