Three school groups will be performing in the showcase on Thursday, April 3, including Greater Shepparton Secondary College, Shepparton Christian College and Notre Dame College.
Their new dance works, created during a dance residency with The Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team, will be open to the public to watch and enjoy.
Afterwards, there will be a performance of Wonderland, which will be presented by The Australian Ballet’s Education and Outreach dancers and musicians from Orchestra Victoria.
This marks the first time that Wonderland will be performed with live music, offering a rare opportunity to experience the magic of ballet.
Performed by four dancers, the show will feature a 30-minute pop-up style, modern ballet adaption of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, designed for school and community groups of all ages.
Attendees will follow Alice on a journey through Wonderland.

Alice is seen daydreaming by a riverbank, dancing among the butterflies.
She follows a white rabbit down a long winding rabbit hole, where a mysterious Cheshire Cat appears, guiding her into Wonderland.
Here, she meets more characters — the entertaining Hatter, the kind Knave, the jazzy Flamingo and the demanding Queen of Hearts — before finding her way back home.
Join Alice on her journey, for a game of croquet, plenty of dancing and a tea party or two.
Riverlinks manager Matthew Schroeders said he was thrilled to once again host the Australian Ballet as its dancers bring their exceptional talent and skill to share with the students of the Goulburn Valley.
“This event highlights the power of community engagement in the arts, bringing us together to celebrate creativity and connection,” Mr Schroeders said.
“Join us for a memorable celebration of artistry and community spirit!”
Tickets to the performance are available in person, online or through the Riverlinks box office on 5832 9511.
