Ben Lawless put the Yarrawonga Football Netball Club name up to receive the equipment after seeing that the Demons were going to donate a box of equipment to a local junior female football club for every goal kicked in the 2021 season as part of Goals for Good promotion and the AFL’s Tackle Your Feelings program.
“I was sitting at home and saw it and thought why not, it will benefit our local girls,” Ben said.
“They ended up kicking 60 goals this year which was more than their 32 the year before.”
