A large crowd recently gathered in support of Aussie actor Sam Johnson’s presentation at the Seymour Bowls Club.

As co-founder of cancer charity, Love Your Sister, Mr Johnson spoke to locals about the touching campaign on the evening of Tuesday, March 11.
Members of local Rotary Clubs and the community came together for the inspiring event supporting cancer research and patient care.
“Sam shared heartfelt stories about his sister Connie’s battle with cancer, resonating deeply with the audience,” Seymour Rotarian Jane Challis said.

With Love Your Sister merchandise available to purchase and raffle prizes on offer, attendees were able to raise funds for the cause.
“Every dollar raised is a step closer to making a real difference,” Mr Johnson said.
With “laughter and camaraderie filling the air,” Ms Challis said the evening displayed how willing locals are to offer supports when needed.
“The event highlighted the strength of community, with local Rotary Clubs and community members united in support of a cause that affects so many,” Ms Challis said.
“Thanks to the success of the night, Love Your Sister will continue its vital work in cancer research and patient care.”
