He founded Love Your Sister in 2012 and it has since developed into a community of more than a million Australians committed to vanquishing cancer with science and revolutionary tech.
The presentations will provide attendees an opportunity to hear Mr Johnson reflect on real life people and events that inspire him, while also delving into some of his exclusive showbiz yarns.
Mr Johnson will be presenting at the Seymour Bowls Club on March 11.
The event will begin at 6.30pm, with formal proceedings to begin at 7pm.
Tickets are $40 per person and include a delicious two-course dinner. Drinks will be available at bar prices.
All funds raised by ticket sales will support the Love Your Sister campaign, showing the Rotary Club’s commitment to helping advance cancer research and provide support to families and patients.
Rotary Club member Jane Challis said the event would provide attendees with insight into Love Your Sister.
“We’re looking forward to having a really enjoyable night of fellowship and community awareness of what Samuel Johnson is trying to promote,” Ms Challis said.
Aside from the meal and presentation, attendees will be able to engage in discussions and fundraising activities and connect with others who may also be passionate about making a difference.
