Shepparton organic café closes due to restrictions

“Due to all the restrictions/laws in Victoria, our vision of a vibrant, eclectic space where ALL are welcome simply cannot happen,” the post read.

“We believe the requirements placed upon us are both morally conflicting and unethical.

“As such, we have made the difficult decision to sell our business.”

The post also thanked every supporter and asked people to “remember to be kind and compassionate towards your fellow human being”.

Red Truck Cafe opened during the pandemic in late July 2020 and focused on organic, healthy and sustainable options.

Red Truck Cafe declined to comment on the matter when contacted by The News.
