Victorian Multicultural Affairs Minister Richard Wynne said he encouraged multicultural communities in rural and regional Victoria and all emerging communities to apply for the Multicultural Festivals and Events Program 2020-21.
“This is about giving multicultural communities every opportunity to share and express their heritage and traditions with their fellow Victorians,” Mr Wynne said.
“By generously sharing your culture, you directly contribute to making Victoria a diverse and welcoming place.”
Small grants of up to $2000 and large grants of up to $70 000 are available for events which will take place from July to December this year.
An information session about the program will be held from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm on Tuesday, February 11 at the Shepparton Library in Marungi St.
Attendees will have the opportunity to be informed about the program, answer questions with grants experts from the Multicultural Affairs division of the Department of Premier and Cabinet and access assistance with their application, including grant writing tips and skills.
