Construction on Shepparton's new Country Fire Authority station at Karibok Park is well under way, with architectural plans depicting the new design.
Compiled by Merat Architects for the CFA, the artist impressions show a bird's eye view of the site which corners Archer and Vaughan Sts.
According to the designs the new station houses five garages for CFA trucks, with the vehicles entering and exiting the station from Archer St.
The site will host a carpark at the back and right side of the property, while the office appears to be situated to run along Vaughan St.
The construction period is expected to be about 12 months, with the new station due to become operational during autumn next year.
