Rallies will take place in Canberra, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide and Bendigo under the slogan "Free the Hawkei" - referring to the light armoured defence vehicle.
The Ukrainian communities will show up wearing snakeskin prints and hold toy snakes in a nod to the Hawkei snake found in the Northern Territory that shares a name with the armoured four-wheel drive.
Toy snakes will be let out of cages at the end of the rallies and the backdrop in Bendigo will be the Thales Australia facility, where Hawkeis are made.
"As Ukraine gets ready to launch its spring offensive, any extra military assistance from the Australian government would be greatly appreciated," Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations co-chair Kateryna Argyrou said.
"We urge the Australian government to free the Hawkei, so we can secure victory together."
Australia has donated Bushmaster armoured infantry vehicles to Ukraine, which have been warmly welcomed by Kyiv.
Ukrainian soldiers have posted numerous videos of the Bushmasters in action on social media, including one backtracked to AC/DC.
Ukrainian ambassador to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko says Australia should also use Ukraine as a testing ground for cyber assistance as Kyiv tries to repel Russian cyber attacks and disinformation.
After reports Australia denied sending cyber assistance to Ukraine after a request from Kyiv, Mr Myroshnychenko said his nation provided the perfect opportunity to stress test and develop its own capabilities.
Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil said she is open to discussions about further assistance.
