The cases emerged after 12,560 tests across Queensland in the 24 hours to 6.30am on Wednesday.
There are 379 patients in hospital and another 35 in intensive care.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the deaths did not all occur in the past 24 hours, with 29 of them reported by the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
"Births, Deaths and Marriages report to Queensland Health on a weekly basis and this reporting is reflected in today's data," she told parliament.
"And many of these people have had underlying conditions as well.
"On behalf of the house, can I express my condolences to all the people who have lost loved ones during this Omicron wave."
The latest figures show 92.59 per cent of eligible Queenslanders have had one vaccine dose, while 90.66 per cent have had two.
Less than 50 per cent of children aged between five and 11 have received their first dose, with the figure sitting at 42.2 per cent.
"We want to see that lifted up especially as we approach out March 4," Ms Palaszczuk said.
The state will remove mask restrictions in most public settings and relax most remaining density limits in just over a week.
Chief Health Officer John Gerrard on Tuesday said the March 4 date corresponds with the end of the current virus wave for parts of the state hit the latest.
He warned another wave was possible as Australia heads into winter, and said mask restrictions may be needed again if cases rise.
