The 41-year-old wasn't required to appear on Wednesday in Joondalup Magistrates Court in Perth, where her case was briefly mentioned.
Giuffre's lawyer Karrie Louden told Magistrate Andrew Maughan that negotiations with prosecutors were ongoing over the alleged incident in the suburb of Ocean Reef, where she is understood to live, on February 2.
Asked by Mr Maughan why the negotiations were taking so long, Ms Louden said she was "quite busy" as she requested for the matter to be adjourned until June 11, which was granted.
The case was previously mentioned in court on March 14 Mr Maughan said a plea would need to be entered when it returned to court.
Outside court, Ms Louden said Giuffre had been released from hospital and was expected to give an update about her condition soon.
Giuffre captured global attention in March when she shared a photo on social media showing her face with what appeared to be extensive bruising.
In the post, she said she had been involved in a bus crash, was hospitalised with kidney renal failure and had four days to live.
A spokesman later said Giuffre was in serious condition in hospital and provided details about the bus crash on March 24 in a rural area of Western Australia.
He said a school bus hit the car she was travelling in and that although police were called none were available to come to the scene."Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home," the statement said."Virginia's condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital."
The spokesman also said Giuffre thought that she had posted on her social media post on a private Facebook page.
Giuffre's case will return to the same court on June 11.
Prince Andrew paid millions of dollars to Giuffre in 2022 to settle a civil case out of court after she accused him sexually assaulting her when she was 17 years old. King Charles' younger brother strenuously denied her allegations.
Giuffre also sued US financier and convicted pedophile Epstein saying he sexually abused her and pressured her into have sex with prominent figures within his social orbit.
