Residents to the north of the Western Downs town of Miles have been told to leave immediately as firefighters battle an out-of-control blaze in hot summer conditions.
The warning covers Kowguran, Myall Park and Hookswood as the fire travels towards Archinalls Road, Hookswood Pelham Road and Ryalls Road.
"This fire may pose a threat to lives. It will soon be too dangerous to drive," the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services alert says.
An estimated 20 structures have been lost in the Myall Park fire which has burned some 26,000 hectares.
Farming equipment has also been destroyed.
Another 20 homes and sheds were damaged by a second blaze at Montrose and Tara which is currently more than 600 hectares in size and 80 per cent contained.
Residents have been warned to monitor conditions with multiple fires burning between South Road, Chinchilla Tara Road, Church Road, Weranga North Road and the intersection of Clynes Road and Kogan Condamine Road.
A third warning is in place for residents of Fairyland and Burra Burri near Jandowae who have been told to prepare to leave.
A fast-moving fire is travelling from Nudley State Forest towards Moran Creek Road and conditions could get worse, the alert says.
QFES crews across the state have been called in and aircraft are helping the firefighting effort.
No fatalities or significant injuries have been reported.
Ergon Energy is conducting safety reviews before landholders are allowed to return to their homes.
The Bureau of Meteorology warned the high fire danger would continue for the next few days in the Darling Downs, Granite Belt and Central West areas.
The forecast for Miles on Tuesday includes a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with the potential for damaging winds and heavy falls in the far east.
Daytime maximum temperatures are predicted to be 30 to 38 degrees.
