The Labor leader was alongside Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan for the second day in a row, spruiking the opposition's manufacturing plan.
It is the second time Mr Albanese has been out in the west during the campaign, with the opposition hoping to pick up at least three seats in the state, including Hasluck, Swan and Pearce.
At a press conference in the seat of Hasluck on Tuesday, he was quick to praise the leadership of Mr McGowan.
"What we've seen is that Western Australia's economy has powered our national economy," the federal Labor leader told reporters in Perth.
"Mark McGowan has a vision for WA that incudes making things here."
It is the fourth time in as many days Mr Albanese has been with state and territory leaders, after campaigning alongside Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Sunday and new NT Chief Minister Natasha Fyles on Saturday.
Earlier in the day at a business breakfast hosted by the West Australian newspaper, Mr Albanese even joked about the size of Mr McGowan's election landslide last year, where the premier picked up 53 of the 59 seats.
"I will make this firm prediction - I will not do as well in this federal election as Mark McGowan did in the last state election," Mr Albanese said.
The opposition leader said he wanted his political legacy to be positive action on climate change, regardless of whether he wins or loses Saturday's election.
However, he conceded he would not increase Labor's emissions target, should it be a condition of the so-called teal independents in a potential hung parliament.
Responding to a query about what he would like his political career to be remembered for, Mr Albanese replied: "Acting on climate".
The opposition leader remained tight-lipped about his party's chances when Australians head to the polls, but said the objective was to win at least three seats in Western Australia.
Mr Albanese said he was focused on working hard right up until polls close and remained optimistic about the outcome.
"Change can happen faster than you think," he said.
Mr Albanese promised he would lean on the leadership stylings of previous prime ministers from the state John Curtin and Bob Hawke should he win the election.
"When I refer to Hawke and Curtin, it's not an act of nostalgia but a reminder of what can be done when you come to the table with courage, vision and ambition," Mr Albanese told the audience.
"A reminder that good government can create profound and lasting change that improves lives. A reminder that, with a better government, we can build a better future."
Earlier on Tuesday, Labor announced a $1.5 billion medical manufacturing fund.
The plan, which will help to shore up medical supply chains including vaccines, will form part of a $15 billion national reconstruction fund.
Mr Albanese made the case for revitalising industry and manufacturing capabilities across a range of sectors.
"Australians should be able to access medicines, vaccines and medical supplies when we need them," he said.
