David, Tara, Austin and Henry Brewer have created a seedstock enterprise simply focusing on high calving ease, fantastic temperament and high structural standards.
“In recent years we have honed in on breeding good sound SimAngus bulls specifically bred for Victorian and Southern NSW markets,” David said.
“We understand the needs of our clients with Angus cow herds and offer bull that will fit in seamlessly but give increased returns by way of hybrid vigour increasing turn off weighs and improving the longevity of retained females.”
David said modern Black Simmental and specifically SimAngus genetics can be an ideal complement to Angus cow operations. They will inject:

David said at the recent Blue Ribbon weaner sales at NVLX Barnawartha and Wangaratta, their clients’ cattle again consistently sold in the tops of their categories and their own line of grown SimAngus steers made $4/kg, $1910/head.
Brewer Beef at 401 Soldier Settlers Rd, Tallangatta Valley, will hold its 10th Annual Bull Sale on February 21.
The 45 bulls on offer include premium purebred Black Simmentals, SimAngus and purebred Angus bulls to give buyers a number of quality options for their herd.
