Founder and chief executive Danny Singh launched the range of watches in 2020, inspired by his Sikh heritage.
“This brand has now gone around the world,” he said.
“We’ve got quite a few stores stocking our brand now and now it has reached Shepparton.”
The watches are the only ones in the world to bear the symbol of Khanda – reflecting the powerful and exotic history, and proud martial heritage, of Sikhism.
Mr Singh said he used the Khanda Sahib as it was a universally recognised symbol of excellence.
“The brand is a tribute to the spiritual master and warrior king Guru Gobin Singh Ji – the 10th guru of Sikhism and the founder of the Khalsa martial race of people,” he said.
“There is a huge Sikh community in Shepparton.
“It’s crazy how a lot of people don’t know that – one of the biggest temples in all of Australia and one of the most successful farming communities of our people are in Shepparton.”
House of Khalsa timepieces are designed in Melbourne and manufactured in Switzerland and Hong Kong, using quality materials and elements specific to each style of watch.
There are styles for both men and women, including Swiss-made professional divers’ watches with an operating depth of up to 500 metres.
While there are strong historical and cultural significance to the watches, Mr Singh said people were also drawn to them purely for the style and quality.
“We are proud that the strength of our brand has found its way to Shepparton as a part of its destiny,” Mr Singh said.
