The Bears took a 39-point victory away from the round 15 Goulburn Valley League fixture, but a number of Lions battled on hard all day in the at-times teeming rain.
In fact, six Lions (as well as six Bears) notched triple-figure ranking points throughout the clash.
Riley Mason just raised the bat, with his 100 GVL Data ranking points including 18 disposals, five marks, four inside 50s, three rebound 50s and five score involvements.
Alexander Elliott racked up 107 ranking points, securing seven marks, five inside 50s and three clearances, as well as 28 hitouts, in Seymour’s defeat.
Tom Maloney’s stat-line of 24 disposals, 15 contested possessions, four tackles and eight clearances earned him 113 ranking points, while Jack Murphy’s 115 came from 32 disposals and eight rebound 50s.
Nicholas Dundon repelled well with 12 rebound 50s, 26 disposals, four tackles and 118 ranking points, but it was Nathan Beattie who was comfortably the Lion of the week with 141 ranking points.
Beattie collected 32 disposals, 19 contested possessions and 12 clearances on his way to the marker.
He also had 10 intercept possessions and 14 ground ball gets in the wet for good measure.
For the Bears, Ash Holland (184 ranking points), Trent Herbert (125), Adam De Cicco (125), Luke Smith (119), Mitch Brett (112) and Tyler Larkin (103) led the way.
