The Murray Bushrangers talent pulled on the red-and-white once again for his side’s round 12 clash against Echuca.

Despite his side falling to Echuca by 68 points, Clohesy’s hard work across the backline did not go unnoticed.
The 18-year-old defender had 28 disposals during Saturday afternoon’s performance, kicking at 82 per cent efficiency and handballing at 100 per cent.
Clohesy had 10 contested possessions for the game, with the talent having a real impact in the defensive 50.
He chalked up 12 rebound-50s against Echuca, meaning the Swans youngster not only performed well in defence but helped jump-start his side’s attacks.
This feat has only been bettered by Benalla’s Samuel Harris, Tatura’s Comanche Walls, Shepparton’s Ted Lindon and Rochester’s Blake Evans so far this season, leaving Clohesy in esteemed company.
Saturday’s performance also outshone Clohesy’s two other GVL games this season, while the rebound-50 statistic is also 10 higher than any of his NAB League figures from this year.
Clohesy has been playing consistent football in the Murray Bushrangers jumper this season, averaging 17.8 disposals a game, with a season-high of 25 against the Northern Knights.
His impact for both the Swans and the Bushrangers cannot be understated, and the youngster certainly has a bright future in the game.
