This isn't your ordinary cafe; it's the Eco Cafe, a community-driven initiative by Shepparton Access.
Participants from Shepparton Access are at the heart of the cafe, managing orders, the till, and serving up coffee and cakes.
The grand opening on Tuesday, April 16, unfolded outside the Wyndham St cafe, where staff members shared their dreams and experiences with the crowd.
Shepparton Access chief executive officer Brigid Herring-Neumann spoke about the cafe before passing on to Federal Member for Nicholls Sam Birrell who cut the ribbon.
News journalist Djembe Archibald went along to the opening.
