Since then, they’ve raised a family in the business and have undergone various changes, always making sure they’re adapting to the community’s needs.
In addition to providing the community with all their workwear needs, Worklocker’s owners also pride themselves on their efforts in fundraising for community groups and events and sponsoring sports teams.
“We’ve been a part of the community for a long time and we give a lot back to the community with sporting teams and different community events,” Mrs Lake said.
“Just because being in a small country town, to give back to community is why you have a small business so everyone can stay within the town and support each other.”
Worklocker offers a wide range of services including: school, sports and corporate uniforms; trade and corporate wear; a wide range of work boots; and even men’s formal wear suitable for those fancier occasions.
The business also specialises in embroidery and screen printing, services it offers as a sponsor to seven football clubs in the area and other corporate businesses.
With time comes change, and Worklocker has done just that with the expansion of the embroidery business with a new machine and new staff to make sure they keep up with the demand of their clients.
“We’re expanding as a business into more of a warehouse retail store rather than just you buy and leave,” Mrs Lake said.
No job is too big or small for Worklocker, and the staff would be happy to assist for any workwear needs.
